European Noise at Work Summit
A major European conference on 12 December, 2005, brings together health and safety experts, practitioners, and policymakers from across Europe to discuss the challenges and future strategies for better control of noise at work.
The European Noise at Work Summit taking place in Bilbao, Spain, concludes the 2005 'Stop that Noise!' campaign, the first pan-European action aimed at reducing the risks of workplace noise.
The one-day summit is jointly organised by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work and the United Kingdom Presidency of the EU, and it will cover both issues of workplace noise prevention as well as the implications of the new EU noise directive.
