Headphones featuring hearing loss alarm
New technology makes it easier for parents to see when their kids turn up the music too loud on their MP3 player.

Two small light diodes on the headphones indicate when the loudness level is hazardous.
With a green and red light, parents can visually monitor listening levels across the room. A green light indicates a safe listening volume and a red light indicates that the sound is too high, alerting parents that the child may have a hearing problem or is at risk of causing irreversible hearing damage.
