Four out of five people in the US have hearing problems - or know someone who has.
Hearing loss has become the 3rd most common health problem in the US.

36 million Americans suffer from some kind of hearing loss, with only a quarter of these people recognising that they have a problem and seeking treatment. 36 million is greater than all those in the US who suffer from heart disease, cancer, multiple sclerosis, blindness, tuberculosis, venereal disease & kidney disease combined.
Furthermore, nearly 1 in 5 American adolescents have some level of hearing loss, a rate that has climbed substantially over the past two decades.
