Web chat about hearing loss

Hearing impaired Britons looking for answers about their hearing loss and treatment options are invited to join a web chat on Friday 30th September hosted by Deafness Research UK.

The web chat at 4.30 p.m. at www.webchats.tv is directed at the millions of people all over the UK who suffer from hearing loss but who are afraid to seek help and just ignore the problem. The number of hearing impaired people in the UK is estimated at nine million, yet fewer than two million wear hearing aids.

Deafness Research UK will be represented in the chat by Vivienne Michael who will answer your questions. Deafness Research UK is a national charity dedicated to helping hearing impaired people through medical research and education.
